You wont draw much argument with claims that Canada and Australia pose less geopolitical or sovereign risk than Africa.
Overly simplistic however to tar all African nations with the same brush. At the speculative end of the market, I would favour investment in a profitable project in present Tanzania over a marginal project in a more stable jurisdiction.
