Panic selling from traders can be expected ..like panic buying ..In the short run and the long ripen ..prices of every share go up and down...it's what happens.
People who cannot face at least a daily volatility of 8% should keep their money in savings accounts getting paid a steady interest rate.Investing in Stock Markets is not for the faint hearted!!!
Stock Markets are volatile and today the market was especially volatile...share price movements are rarely linear.However in the longer term prices move is always in the direction of Future expected profits or losses...and this is mixed with Actual profits/ or losses...and present information and how that influences future expectations...hence volatility.
CEO Burns is following out the plans of his board and is not there to promote the share price ...He is only there to update investors on the companies activities and the steady improvement or deterioration of the Companies Developments.Be this in Joint ventures or moving up production processes to meet demand by clients...these are his major tasks and all is progressing as planned by the Board ..Indeed recently was another first.. producing of graphite in a continuous process for 7 days all Graphite produced was up to EV battery standards...This continuous production process has only been achieved by NVX...add to that the developments with Coral planning to be a major battery producer receiving major funds from the DoE
My advice is always to take advantage of lower prices ...and don't think price movement from day to day is necessarily a sign of long term developments...more generally price changes from day to day are just normal trading volatility.
