The cathode "converging goals" (shall we say) of LG CHEM, NVX, and TSLA is apparent. I'm not saying they're working together per se, but the latest NVX quarterly provided rather specific clues about potential direction here.
Tesla, leading all things, is hell-bent on cutting costs. DPMG in addition to Maxwell Tech may be the roadmap. If I'm not mistaken, DPMG provides for no material waste, fractional water usage, and the potential for using less expensive nickel.
If not TSLA, then someone else will step in -- or has stepped in.
