Looking ahead, the company is also mapping out plans to establish at least two additional factories dedicated to the production of 4680 batteries in North America by 2030.
As part of its expansion strategy, Panasonic is actively considering Oklahoma, among two other U.S. states, for a substantial investment to enhance its electric vehicle battery production capabilities in the country.
