If only we knew! It could have been last month, it could be next month, or it could be early next year. Three or four months for due diligence should be sufficient if Novonix were being as helpful as possible to assist the process.
Work has certainly started on the site that was listed as their preferred site in their grant application. These early works seem to be funded by the city to incentivise Novonix to setup their facility in Chattanooga. One would think that Novonix would have to give the green light to the city to start the early works.
Novonix have a track record of making a decent announcement just before an AGM or major report, so its possible there will be some news (big or small) just before the half yearly at the end of the month.
