. Its just a bit annoying that on one hand there’s a huge effort to build industry outside China, then in the anode space, where China has the most market share the tariff is waived. For mine, this goes against there own critical strategic mineral/material policy.
Doesn’t change the govt help in the form of grants and loans, but it would help in getting companies looking at US product before probably cheaper Chinese.
LGES agreed on a price structure and it’s also in that contract that any future competitor offtakes wouldn’t undercut that price. So I’m not sure if it’s a price issue in comparison to China that hasn’t seen offtakes Ann, or that as the company would say, qualification is still underway.

Anyway the IRA tax incentives for local product tightening each year should have a similar impact to tariffs but would be nice for a double whammy!
