The timeline changed but It hasn’t been silence. Two months following that interview with the AFR they released a statement downgrading the outlook and stating that the scale was now to the Kore contract. Not sure what happened either, could speculate they had a deal pulled after the tariffs pushed back, probably will never know. They Ann the JDA with LGES since, whom could take all this companies anode and it wouldn’t touch the sides of their requirements.
I do like the article highlighting the Chinese dominance of anode materials. Over 90% is not healthy for security of supply, glad it’s highlighted again.
