So to your question is NVX product better that SYR? Technically yes, in performance, but at a premium cost.
It’s horses for courses, and depends on the battery manufacturers requirements for the end use. Both are in demand. NVX products are more ultra long life uses which comes at a premium cost. As per diagram below
My point earlier is even if all the new US anode start ups hit their targets then the industry will still be short by a long way, as the 3 big Koreans increase output ten fold over the next two year to 451GWh, that excludes demand from Panasonic 3 plants, Powerco Northvolt etc
Where is the “anode” (not graphite) but the refined company specific product coming from- I can only see a huge deficit local US production.
