It's a different issue. Tesla are trying to dry coat the cathode mix on to the foil. The usual method uses a wet mix which means you need to dry the mix by placing miles of rolled out foil inside a massive drying room before making the cell. NVX is trying to use a dryer way to produce the cathode mix not apply it to the foil.
Apparently they can dry coat the anode to the foil.
