I can explain to you why this is good news for Novonix.
Car makers and battery makers cannot get a constant supply of Graphite from China (who dominate the market)
Less supply (demand remaining constant) will drive the price of graphite up.
A higher price of graphite, will will mean higher margins for Novonix.
