Very promising. I was only saying in SYR a month ago spherical graphite needs a better coating to improve cycle life with vehicle to grid and vehicle to home becoming more prevalent. ATM the vehicle will wear out before the battery but with V2G and V2H it's about to drastically change. Especially if people recharge using home solar panels and/or off-peak times using the grid. Most households have a 2nd vehicle these days which also helps.
Having a better coating along with solid state would help negate the necessity of having a Li metal anode.
