I don't know as much about producing synthetic AAM as I do natural because most of the info is on Chinese websites. However, it takes 2-3 days at ~3000 degrees to turn pet coke into graphite in a furnace so I'd say 24/7. They say the new Gen 3 furnaces are continuous feed but I don't know exactly what it means or how it works. They may have some sort of conveyor system inside the furnace where you feed the pet coke from the top and 3 days later it comes out the bottom as graphite instead of making the graphite in 3 day batches per furnace.

You also don't want to power down furnaces because of the cost to power them back up. I'm guessing but if you assume the 2 furnaces they have can make 3kt to meet Kores off-take, a simple extrapolation would mean they'd need 13 or 14 furnaces to make 20kt.
