Tariffs are designed to give locally produced goods a price advantage over imported goods.
There are no locally produced goods to protect and there will be precious little before 2027. So what is the point of tariffs before 2027? All you are doing is increasing the price of every EV made in the US in the next 2 years unnecessarily.
Tariffs won't help NVX. Only funding to manufacture AAM will and tariffs don't provide that. You are putting the cart before the horse.
