Yes it does. Takes forever to qualify product, and also seemingly takes forever for all the ducks to line up for battery production in North America using local materials. Takes forever to secure the big offtakes and get the finance.
Remember that when the ducks finally do line up though, which they seem to be about to. That, my friend, is a big barrier to entry, aka a f***ing big deep moat.
