Chris in the webcast last week mentioned a couple of points.
By end of year they will have module one completed & be at 3000tpa for C sampling (at commercial scale) leading into deliveries to Panasonic, & the company will start to show margins once the plant is at half capacity, which will be built up over next couple of years. Also one to two more offtake contracts for Riversides production (25% sg tariffs will help with this).
These points are relative to institutional investment as rather than a company selling a dream, Once module one is in production, this will start to become a scaling business, with actual return. Chris also made the point that this is the only commercial scale plant of this type in the US & given the 25% tariff coming in & FEOC legislation being enforced in two years, being the only plant in operation has to be significant.
Frustrating it’s taken a long time to get right, and will be a slow burn. However, I see a positive change, once modules come online and commercial deliveries start going out.
& Don’t forget the dry cathode tech, pilot plant was commissioned July 23.
