Yep. Elon can pick a trend if nothing else. Trump hates losing, and losing to China is about as bad as it gets. I am starting to expect a pivot in the months after November, partially because all the groundwork as been laid during Biden's term and now Trump just needs to own it and control that narrative so he gets all the credit for it. EVs beating ICE is inevitable. Elon and Trump know they can help each other here.
