long lasting batteries are fine, and several companies are saying the have 1.million mile batteries... NVX has said 1mil...and beyond to 1.5 and 2m likely
I think the real challenge is about fast charging and range. Who wants to wait 15-30minutes to charge- and most probably waiting in line; and there needs to be a range over 400miles. Some technologies are touting 1000km, and quick starting in 5mins. ...and of course cost. Tesla said they will bring EV down to $US35,000 still thats a fair chunk to change over?
NVX I think has partnerships with fast starting company; NVX have said their focus is the supply chain to battery makers. Hope those companies have fast starting and long range
