Major speculation but, there is potential they use NVX tech further down the line on the Fremont factory like you said as a trial and if successful moving it to the new terafactory's that are being built.
You'd think Tesla want to produce the best battery at the biggest of their factory's.
Which would be a massive accomplishment by NVX
