Oh yes, they do care! Companies like VW and Tesla are under intense scrutiny in relation to the supply chain. They can’t be seen to be associated with companies that might embarrass them with unwanted negative publicity.
St Bakers recent intervention in the proposed rule changes in NSW electricity market are nakedly self serving and designed to stymie the growth in renewable and battery storage which directly threatens the profits from his coal power station. In particular, it is about attacking battery growth. Not a good look.
