I'm unsure about that Musk tweet. Is he trying to throw everyone off the scent about his graphite-less silicon anode developments in Colorado? Or, is he being genuine about being OK (right now) with a graphite/silicon anode? Perhaps both.
Could Tesla have advanced silicon anode tech (in 3 years) enough to be setting up factory runs? Possibly.
I'm guessing PureGraphite has a defined time window in vehicles (2-3 years?), perhaps longer in storage application.
This stuff is hard to interpret - anyone got a POV on this?
