Liveris is on the Board because he has great connections and knows how to get things done. But, sonds like he hedges his bets on the future of energy...
Trevor St Baker is a big the same - got the funds and money to get things going for NVX, but holding on to coal...
Important the Board is seen as pushing for a fully green future IMO, and while I don't doubt their commitment to NVX and their considerable experience, could be a bad look if they hold on to old tech as well...
