Ha, I just logged in to post the same link. I share the same assumption as you, but somehow the dates don't work out. The patent was assigned in Jan 26, 2021, but BD was many months before, and you'd expect Tesla to have been working with them many months before that. And for $3? For sure, the plot will thicken here!
