WOW...you think Novonix doesn't know that synthetic graphite done China's was is dirty. This is the whole point! Like Elon, they solve problems, this is what they do. This is their mission. to make EV's cheaper

The entire NVX model is about cleaning up the making of synthetic graphite anode material and establishing a US based supply chain. somehow you have entirely missed the point. NVX are using premium petroleum coke because of its high purity and that fact it is effectively a waste product...so rather than the US sending the premium petroleum coke to China to make their anodes which they then sell back to the US -they send it direct to nvx, which uses a proprietary processing methodology that increases yields to near 100% which means less energy and less water / unit of output and they say still maintains the batteries superior cell performance. Its greener...some say the greenest synthetic graphite on the plant...and fyi synthetic graphite still has a superior battery performance over natural graphite...conductivity thing i believe

The US has no natural graphite production and is not likely to any time soon...could have supplies from africa and canada in time...don't forget mining and transportation emissions..when calculating natural graphite LCA's. There is room for all as the EV market to 2030 is on fire. Failure is not an option...no graphite...equals very very few EV's to 2030
