Interesting find. There's a private company with a manufacturing facility in NY that is making both synthetic and natural graphite anode. They received a grant from the US in 2009 to scale up to 4,000 TPA ($11.4m from govt. with $11.4 of their own cost). They bought all the patents from and work with ConocoPhilips which is a spin off company of Phillips66. Phillips66 spun off their unprofitable business ventures into ConocoPhilips. They work with Coulometrics aka Edward Buiel to develop their patented process and they use Non-Novonix battery testers. Very interesting to see given that I thought Novonix were the only ones making synthetic and the fact that they work with Coulometrics as they were a partner in the JV with Novonix in PUREgraphite.

I wonder how our process differs from theirs, etc. Good read.
