Before DOE loans flow, I am banking on minimum USD $50 million in free grants with the Biden administrations Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework which has just past Senate.
Novonix would be stupid to apply for a loan right now. They are all ready cashed up, with the potential to have anywhere between USD $50-150 million come their way, if not more in grants (free $$$).
Andrew Liveris was critical to this bill passing and he sits on Novonix's board of directors, with his Son as CFO of the company.
But yes the company has stated it will use US debt funding to scale in the future...
