You make a lot of unsubstantiated assumptions, Greenenergy. How do you know where the batteries are coming from? They could be coming from China or even Europe, for all we know.
In any case. The theory is that Tesla will build phase one first and the battery plant will come later. There are graphite producers in Europe that I'm sure Tesla would look at tapping into if they can, if it comes to that.
