Just wanted to re-emphasize how important the relationship with Phillips 66 is for those worried about dilution. Needle coke is finite.
This is the end of an interview with Eric DesSaulniers of NMG, which I have a small stake in, from back in February. Gives the science short shrift but nonetheless makes his point about needle coke. Approx 1 million t of needle coke produced outside China, 370,000 t by Phillips. Interesting about the blended anodes, thus the longevity of synthetic graphite market. From approx 47:01.
