- Tesla 5 year exclusive R&D partnership 2016-2021
- Renewed Tesla 5 year R&D partnership in 2021, at the same time taking on the Senior Scientific Adviser for Novonix.
- Novonix CEO, Chris Burns, was student of Jeff Dahn and helped set up Tesla's battery labs together.
- Novonix and Tesla strong ties with Dalhousie University for R&D, granted under different programs (Dahn vs Obrovac) but most of the key players all studied under Dahn.
- Jeff Dahn's son works for Novonix for over the past 5 plus years.
Is all this the precursor to Novonix anode materials coming online at scale this year and the final piece of the puzzle is proving their Single Crystal Cathode is able to be produced at scale with the 10T demonstration line being commissioned as we speak using the most environmentally friendly process for both anode and cathode world wide??
Someone tell me this is a meme stock with a PT of $1.
