My understanding is DPMG can be used in the recovery of fines from the furnace process, increasing overall anode material yield. This is not being implemented yet.
For cathode production DPMG is the key part of the process.
Both of these are dry processes for the creation of anode and cathode material.
Telsa are using a technology they purchased from Maxwell. This allows them to coat electrodes in the active anode and cathode material in a dry process.
NVX DPMG tech creates anode and cathode material in a dry process
Tesla Maxwell tech coats electrodes in the anode and cathode material in a dry process as the the cell is being made.
