If we're not going to consider macro factors at all, however, the board and management should get full credit for the 700%+ gain the previous calendar year, shouldn't they?

This year has been exceptional for a number of reasons. The SP should never have been near $12 in 2021, and that is the main reason for the 84% drop this year. If NVX was priced fairly at the start of the year, and now, the SP would have shown an increase on the back of progress made and sector stronger tailwinds.
