Perhaps the bigger OEMs will do both, depending on the model and target market?
Cheaper priced, shorter range LFP EVs, forgo the credits and just get the cheapest battery,
Expensive long range, high performance, or luxury models, target IRA compliant companies, + more advanced batteries, and get full tax credit to help offset the cost. Added benefit, with this option there’ll also be better ESG.
Perhaps the bigger OEMs will do both, depending on the model and...
