I don't know and I don't care. What does that have to do with NVX being a success or a failure? Elon has many relationships with many people who have failed businesses. Elon himself has numerous failed businesses among the successful (albeit heavily taxpayer subsidised) ones. I get it, there's very little material information regarding NVX's future, so you are no doubt tempted to look into really far-fetched theories, but it isn't productive.
