Even if that bill is passed by the Republicans, IMO - there is no reasonable prospect of it becoming law as Biden is going to veto it for sure. After the bill has been veto-ed by the president, unless BOTH houses of the Congress vote to pass the law by a two third majority, the bill will be dropped. What is the chance of the Democrats supporting the opponent to break their own castle? Highly unlikely...IMO, the inflation reduction act should be safe for now unless there is internal power struggles within the own ruling party.
