I would suggest the e.v. adoption progress in the u.s. will stall (if not halt) under trump. However the rest of the world will absorb this eventuality without even a hiccup. Only person to be able to break a non-compete with Musk... connect the dots, and see that whatever Dahn was doing at NVX was done with Musk's blessing, and only because Musk would assume it will directly benefit Tesla, long term, immensely. I also don't think the orange carnival barker will finish his very possible upcoming term, and hence the pendulum will swing back with a vengeance in the us, as economists with experience will help the culture understand that if you don't electrify the transportation of people, goods, and services, your economy will not be able to compete with those who do. The carnival barking in the next couple years will help bury that fact, until he does install the dictatorship that will probably be his demise.
