Not happy and not sure why tracking the source of graphite is difficult considering the amount used in the typical battery. That said, if they are true to their word and only allow this if the manufacturer can demonstrate a plan to comply by start of 2027, you would think purchase agreements would need to be arranged soon, even if subject to successful product validation. As Chris noted they have plenty of interest now with NVX production samples.
Yes it would be great to see tariffs applied now to provide extra incentives for manufacturers and USA graphite suppliers.
