The current Novonix 150,000 TPA ramp is only the US market. We haven't yet seen what the European expansion will look like.

If Humber (P66) and Novonix get the green light on the environmental front to establish a UK and/or EU expansion, for the same amount (total supply of 300,000TPA), that would make Novonix P66 biggest customer of needle coke, approximately 3/4 of their global supply. This would cut out China almost completely. There is a reason P66 investment into Novonix was labelled "strategic".

This course of action does a number of things:

1. Localised supply chains for customers outside of Asia and cuts down on over 40,000kms of transport of coke and anode prior to being rolled into an EV cell (between covid, Russia/Ukraine, China/Taiwan and other global supply issues, this makes sense to keep it in house)
2. From an environmental point of view, using Novonix fully closed furnaces verse Chinese open pit furnaces, which would help their ESG and net zero goals
3. P66 then also the double benefit of being Novonix's largest share holder, becoming more veritably integrated in the supply chain
4. P66 and Novonix are working together to optimise the entire process to have the best needle coke and SG in the market
5. Screws China over for supply, considering P66 has been targeted for theft in the past for their IP, seeing them localise supply and cutting out the very people trying to undermined their business model would be great to see


For European expansion, I am firm believer that there is a lot if work going on behind the scenes with P66 UK, Novonix, Minviro and a number of EV manufacturers like Britishvolt and Volkswagen. Still waiting patiently for that Minviro report started in December last year.

Dr Burns has said that from 2026 continue to expand and co- locate with EV Battery manufacturers and AUTO OEMs!!! Volkswagen could very well be that!!!
