Just FYI - Biden’s agenda is 2 pronged.

1st targets infrastructure - so funding for roads, bridges, internet network (etc). Commonly referred to as the infrastructure bill. This received bipartisan support. That is, majority of Republicans and Democrats approved it in house of reps.

2nd focuses on social policy - Medicare, college tuition, paid maternity leave (etc) and most importantly to us, climate change. This 2nd prong of Biden’s agenda is highly contentious and DID NOT receive bipartisan support in the house of reps. For this bill to pass, you’d need ALL Democrats to vote in favour of it, in the senate. Unfortunately conservatives like Senator Manchin don’t completely support this part of the policy - mostly because the price tag is too high. This is causing the delay and fuelling media headlines.

What was passed today in the Senate was the 1st prong of Biden’s agenda. This doesn’t affect NVX very much.
