These are the exception rather than the rule. As a result of the level of hysteria that has been generated by the anti-CSG team, the amount of regulation that gas development has and normal commercial reality ensures that the sort of thing you are fearful of just will not happen.

There is no way that gas development is going to cause widespread devastation wherever it occurs.
