It depends what you mean by "potential areas" .
Some of Cuadrilla's acreage has giip figures of over 1 tcf per square mile .
My opinion as a Briton is that the very deep half grabens like the Bowland basin , Gainsborough trough will get produced on an industrial scale if it is technically feasible .
Regions with perhaps 80 bcf/square mile of dry gas in place aren't going to be economically viable once all the hassle is taken into account .
This is why it's essential to have the right acreage .
Wait till the pound sterling reaches parity with the dollar and imports become much more expensive and people will start thinking with their heads .
