The LME launch of Cobalt Sulphate is very significant.
From what I understand, Cobalt Sulphate (higher grade stuff) trades at a considerable premium to regular Cobalt
As CLQ is focused on Cobalt Sulphate, it has still been using a conservative $12/lb and now $17/lb in its DFS studies.
however, I believe through the LME providing clearer transparency in Cobalt Sulphate prices (I hope they do this for Nickel too, as from what I understand CLQ's Nickel Sulphate trades at around a 20% premium to regular Nickel), CLQ will feel a lot more comfortable to use a much higher (and more realistic) Cobalt price in the DFS which in turn should see CLQ achieve a greater NPV.
