Neo, the issue is when and how much of the DRC cobalt will get to market and affect cobalt prices.
There is no reason to argue for or against personal investments in DRC miners. Everyone will have their own risk tolerance or political opinion.
Investment in DRC companies is not the issue that is relevant here; what is relevant, is how much cobalt will get out of DRC and how it will affect supply and pricing.
Since the question is one of politics, interantional and local, it is inhgerently unpredictable; although personally, I believe a lot of the noise is motivated by hidden economic strategies, and that DRC cobalt in
fairly large amounts will get to market, one way or another.
