Oops eyeballed the wrong currency, I think 50% over the 2016 capex PFS's will be closer.
It could be anything, and we will know shortly, but I think 1.5 billion AuD will be closer; not that I have any special expertise.
My estimate is just a gut feel based on their delay on the project, plus the amount that was required of the MLA's back in November ($500 million total). My assumption was that the $500 mil was sufficient in their minds at the time to cover the capex debt requirements; then I added a significant amount based on the delay.
They have prepped everyone for bigger figures.
