Huge 'Green Port Two' Humber International Business Park application goes before planners
Hopes of attracting 6,500 jobs at Associated British Ports scheme to the east of the city
More than 6,000 jobs have been suggested for the site, which will join Able Marine Energy Park on the South Bank in catering for the huge anticipated uplift in offshore wind manufacturing.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson last year raised installation targets, with the Humber sat in the midst of the two largest zones.
Humber International Business Park proposes 394,839 sq m of employment floorspace, of industrial, storage and distribution designation and associated office space with up to 5,111 sq m of flexible commercial floor space.
The proposed development sits immediately down river from Saltend Chemicals Park and south of Yorkshire Energy Park, two huge industrial schemes already in play.
