Seeing as you are too slack to read my response to your supposed Guru on the forum where the original post was made, here it is again.

The Argument was that Pensana is producing more Th than Lynas,

Thorium does not confine itself to Nd,Pr' It is distributed throughout the Rock profile so if you want to calculate the true respective amounts of Th you need to multiply the average Th value by the Total rock mined:

Mt Weld :do not publish their mining rate but their Plant is designed to treat 500,000tpa Ore, We also know that their a strip ratio is >4:1 so their total annual movement will be similar to Longonjo.

The BIG difference is that Longonjo will be containing their Radionuclides on site (NORM) while Lynas is currently exporting them to Malaysia and will then putting them into Tailings dumps just outside of Kalgoorlie once they get their new plant built..

ALL of the Longonjo Th is remaining on site, By your observation 4/5th of Mt Welds Th remains on site, the rest is exported !!!! It is still there, nobody destroyed it.

This whole Th argument is a Furphy, Every coal fired power station spews out tons of Th & U every day ! Anybody living on the Great Divide (Granite country) will have a background radiation level way higher that of the good citizens in Longonjo or Kalgoolie
