Maybe our own mood taints what we hear because I did not hear a downbeat SW in his presentation. I heard more confident references to Vinfast and our partners in Sth Korea. Drilling is "continuing" at Chim Van in partnership with the Vietnamese govt. The success of the TKP does not rely on this however!
I have noted an acceleration and more regular promotion of Vinfast on social media from BSX staff. Vinfast are proving to be extremely aggressive in the rollout of their high quality EV's domestically and across the US and Europe. Tess Kutcher highlighted an article yesterday on this rollout and in particular Vinfast's strategy to use homegrown materials where possible.
I've also noted an article(attached) quoting Pilbara Minerals(Aust largest Lithium producer) call to vehicle and battery producers to join mining companies across the globe in JV's to ensure the funding of downstream refineries!!!!
Our company has seen this necessity well before the pack and is thus well placed to benefit from this momentum.
I remain confident that we have positive news ahead and a return of investor confidence in BSX.
