It's not a mystery as to why there has been a .15% increase in short trading: negative macro sentiment coupled with a clear indication in the quarterly that positive news on BSX will not be forthcoming until late December. That gives short traders a clear timeline for their exit.
Having said that, short traders may be blindsided by an earlier announcement on Joint Ventures.
Hold on to your shares tightly. Don't give the shorts an Xmas present.
