Given the negativity which has pervaded BSX for sometime it is easy to pile on again following this article. However, I would interpret this as confirmation of how how committed Vinfast is to shoring up their local supply chains. At 16k tpa of Ni Sulphide processing there is a large hole to fill for our downstream refinery looking at producing 40k tpa. The article is not clear about which products/chemicals Cavico are capable of producing but I think it's highly likely they just fit into the mould of one of our 3rd party feed suppliers to the downstream. Until we hear exactly what the agreement BSX has with VinES there is no point jumping at shadows IMHO.
