BSX will be using mainly clean hydropower- a very low CO2 emitter, for mining, & its energy-hungry refining.

The ESG factors will make BSX's Ni sulphide mining, & production of EV Ni sulphide precursor chemicals, very attractive to nearly all western EV makers; & very many EV buyers in developed, western-oriented countries (but excluding China , & some other 3rd world countries).

BSX's Ni sulphide ores should, IMO, eventually trade at a premium , cf very high CO2 footprint Indonesian Ni laterites. Ditto, Chinese EV batteries will be disavowed in the west.

These are some of the laws & programs that will require, in the next 3 years, low CO2 EV Ni sulphide ore, & refined precursor chemicals...
