I sympathise with all the long term BSX holders- it was late 2021 that SW said that partners were "knocking on the door" to partner & fund BSX...of course, has not yet happened. The price of Ni dropping from, briefly, c,US $29k per t, to US $16.5k per t now, has certainly been a major contributing factor on BSX etc. project economics, & savage SP decline.

I believe SW (who, absurdly, got a pay rise, to c.$1m pa!) should resign asap; & salaries cut considerably etc. at BSX- "batten down the hatches", & slash BSX expenditures in these very difficult times...hoping Ni prices will again rise in 1-3 years.
(The old maxim: "The solution to low commodity resource prices, is low prices" ie many Ni cos. stop producing & refining= supply greatly reduces=eventually, much higher Ni prices).

Your correct comment re (very high CO2 coal -powered Indon Ni refineries etc-. my words) " Indonesian filthy Ni supply destroying clean Ni projects" is valid- & has also strongly impacted the SP of BSX, & other Australian etc. non-Indon Ni refineries.

There is however, IMO, hopefully, a light at the end of the tunnel.
Numerous MSM articles have stated that western EV makers (eg see the 2023 EU legislation re the necessity of the "Green Passport" for EV battery metals' inputs/low CO2 inputs) will make it legally binding for "Green Metals". for their EV makers. Perhaps, tariifs will be applied to the "offending" foreign makers
China, obviously, will not comply; & nor will the US IR Act provide funding to Indonesia, & other EV high CO2 input makers.

This CTM (MC $148m, c.980k t contained Ni Sulphide [double BSX Ni MRE], with very likely strong upgraded MRE in 2024) commentary, from their December Q'tly Announcement, yesterday, is equally applicable to the very "Green' hydro-powered BSX mining/refining plans.

    CTM stated

"The strategic partnering process is continuing with strong interest received to date from a wide range of counterparties including Western and Asian strategic investors, global automakers, battery manufacturers, chemical
    companies and financial investors.

This broad range of strategic interest highlights the unique market positioning of the Jaguar Nickel Sulphide deposit
as one of the very few advanced stage, large-scale nickel sulphide projects globally, underpinned by its Mineral
Resource which hosts nearly one million tonnes of contained nickel in an open pittable nickel sulphide deposit.

Furthermore, the Project’s expected low carbon footprint has significant (my emphasis) strategic appeal to the counter-parties
involved in the electric vehicle (EV) battery supply chain, particularly in North America and Europe.

Despite current market conditions, the significant interest received as part of the strategic partnering process and
recent transactions in the North American nickel sector demonstrates that strategic appetite from the EV battery
industry remains strong for Western-aligned, low carbon nickel. While the growth in Indonesian nickel has been
significant in the context of the global nickel market, it is becoming clear that these products will NOT be able to
meet the increasingly strict ESG requirements of the major western EV automakers and battery manufacturers
and their respective customers (all emphases, mine)".
