Supply isnt lagging,how much do you reckon an electric car or wind turbine will cost if the price of rare earths goes up?It cant just rise to enable a manufacturer to be profitable,No ones going to pay 200k for an electric vehicle and say oh well at least the rare earth manufacturer made a proit.China have done what they always do ,theyve poured billions into cornering the market and then made it very hard for competition to get a look in.Exactly what theyre doing with Nickel now via Indonesia.Look how many mines now in care n maintenance or plans shelved.My interest is now how many car manufacturers spruiking green credentials will continue to buy the nickel from Indonesia when its clear the environmental filth made when producing the Nickel will never be cleaned up.
